Portfolio
Here are samples of my most recent projects. Each site is unique and is made to reflect the client’s needs. Additionally you will find that each site has been designed with a sensitivity to the experience being created for the visitor. To visit the site, click on the name or the image.
Be sure to download the Website Planning Questionnaire. The process of building your website begins with the questionnaire which walks you through some important considerations in creating your website as you envision it. Your answers will guide me in designing a website that specifically addresses your need.

David MacDonald Pottery
David MacDonald is one of the foremost contemporary ceramic artists in the United States. On the verge of retirement from Syracuse University, he was still without a website.
I created a site for him that reflects a personal aesthetic that is strong and complex and resonates with the colors of his pottery.
The Potter-Jones Agency
The Potter-Jones Agency wanted a look that wasn’t typical for a small independent insurance agency, so I created something bolder than what you would normally associate with a conservative industry such as insurance. The background will be swapped out four times a year to reflect the season.
Soon Ceramics
Soon Ceramics is a personal website that I created to both showcase my ceramic work and to try out some newly learned web design techniques. This site is built upon a carefully created background that mimics the texture of the raku pots in the home page photo.
Central New York Skeptics
The community group, CNY Skeptics, needed a redesigned website in which they could frequently upload or change content. I created a custom WordPress theme for the new site. In WordPress, multiple administrative accounts can be created, which makes it ideal for use by a group whose members will share in the writing of content for the site.
Muscles in Motion Massage Therapy - Original Site Design

For the original design of the Muscles in Motion Massage Therapy website, I chose a color scheme that was in harmony with the client’s business cards and stationery at that time and included a PayPal shopping cart, a downloadable address card (vCard), and an e-newsletter sign-up form.
Lisa Goodlin Design
Of course, this is the site where you currently are. Lisa Goodlin Design was my first site built on a WordPress platform.
I wanted to create a WordPress-powered site in order to get a feel for using the platform as a content management system. What does that mean to you, the potential client? If I build your site on a WordPress platform, you can upload new content in an easy, user-friendly manner.
