What I Do and How I Do It
Lisa Goodlin Design creates effective, functional websites and other communications media that support your goals and express your design aesthetic.
Take a look at my portfolio. It will give you a good idea of how I work. Each site is unique and is made to reflect the client’s needs. Additionally you will find that each site has been designed with a sensitivity to the experience being created for the visitor.
Recent websites that I designed and developed include The Potter-Jones Agency and the website of the renowned ceramic artist David MacDonald.
If you like what you see, download the Website Planning Questionnaire. The process of building your website begins with the questionnaire which walks you through some important considerations in creating your website as you envision it.
Your answers will guide me in designing a website that specifically addresses your need.
Latest projects
The Potter-Jones Agency
The Potter-Jones Agency was looking for a non-traditional appearance for their independent insurance business. I created a bold look featuring a seasonal background that will be swapped out four times a year.
CNY Skeptics
The community group, CNY Skeptics, needed a redesigned website in which they could frequently upload or change content. I created the new site using a WordPress platform for its ease of use as a content management system. Multiple administrative accounts can be created which makes it ideal for use by a group whose members will share in the writing of content for the site.
In addition to the website, I am updating the CNYS brochures with fresh, simple graphics to replace the clip art that was used previously.
Muscles in Motion Massage Therapy
For the Muscles in Motion Massage Therapy website I chose a color scheme that was in harmony with the client’s current business cards and stationery and included a PayPal shopping cart, a downloadable address card (vCard), and an e-newsletter sign-up form.
